January 30, 2010 the Chili Open Golf Outing will be held at the Sussex County Fairgrounds, rain sleet or snow!
This Golf Outing is definitely the most unusual outing hosted In Sussex County, or maybe all of NJ! Defying the temperatures and the risk of deep snow, United Way Board members and volunteers head out in November to "dig" the holes on the fairgrounds before the ground freezes.
The day of the event, local Rotary Clubs provide donated services including drinks and great food, music and games all presented in a tropical environment at the fairgrounds
