SCHOLAR ATHLETE BANQUET SET FOR MARCH 26, 2010

United Way of Sussex County will present the 25th Annual Scholar Athletes awards and scholarships at a banquet on Friday, March 26th, at Perona Farms, Andover Township, NJ.  The banquet is the culmination of two months of community tributes to the outstanding area high school Scholar Athletes that have been chosen by their teachers, coaches and school administrators. 

Each of the 11 Scholar Athletes will receive a scholarship, ranging from $500 to $2,500.  Ronetco Supermarkets is the sponsor of the $2,500 scholarship, Mitchell Insurance Agency, the $1,250 scholarship; Ruggiero Funeral Homes, the $1,000 Scholarship, and Lentini Paving Contractors and Redi-Mix, the $750 scholarship.  Other Scholarship contributors are:  Morville Agency, Sussex County Sports Hall of Fame, Perona Farms, Selective Insurance, Franklin Sussex Auto Mall, Inc., and McGuire Chevrolet Cadillac.
